This museum is dedicated to one of the most prolific personalities of the land. The creations of the artist in wood and clay figures are displayed here. The various statues with biblical themes seem almost alive with the brilliant use of colours. Many of the sculptures have been created by the artist for the Easter Week celebrations.
On display is the Salzillo Crib, the nativity scene made up of over 500 pieces. It gives a real depiction of the life in Murcia of those days with the figures dressed in 18th century costumes.
In the Easter week or Semana Santa the polychrome creations of the artist are taken out from the museum and are paraded through the streets.
