Housed inside ‘Ca la Gran Cristiana’ -a 16th century palace this museum has important collections from archaeological excavations around the city. Divided into different sections, the museum contains everything- from ancient ceramic figurines, art works, ornaments, weapons and religious and spiritual symbols. The collection offers a glimpse into the civilizations from the islands rich history.
You can also see paintings, Renaissance and Baroque ceramics; and modernistic furniture which are on display through other sections of the museum.
