Standing right beside the Cathedral, the solid fence walls of the palace remain intact to this day. The main visitors’ area in the palace is the Chapel of Saint Anne which served as the royal chapel. The palace features four fortified towers, a portico and several other modifications to the original design. Worth a look are the antique furniture and artistic tapestries and paintings in the rooms of the castle.
The courtyard is really outstanding with its landscaped gardens; beautiful fountains, and several comfortable shady green spots. It is now the home of the Harbour Office of the Balearics.
