Valuable relics dating back to Prehistoric times are preserved here. The collection is divided through different rooms representing prehistory, Iberian culture, Roman Culture, Middle Ages and Modern Age. The vast collection features over 81,000 pieces and the highlight is the statue of Lady of Guardamar which has been discovered from the Iberian settlement of Cabezo Lucero. Information about the archaeological sites of Lucentum, Petrarcos and Illeta, and guided tours are available on request.
